Contract Ratification   February 25th, 2009

The membership of all local unions including UWUA Locals 132, 170, 483 and 522, and ICWUC Locals 47, 78, 350, and 995 have jointly ratified the tentative agreement with Southern California Gas Company.
The new contract becomes effective  immediately.

For your information, on the March 13, 2009 payroll check, members should see the wage and premium increases for that payroll period.  On the April 10, 2009 payroll check, members should see the retro-active pay for all hours worked including overtime and premiums for the period covering October 1,  2008 up to and including February 28, 2009.
